I’m a French toast fanatic, and let me tell you, I stumbled upon this gem in a cafe, and it was love at first bite. Now, here’s my take on that exact recipe-amped up with hints of cinnamon and a delightful Nutella surprise, all made right in the air fryer. Give it a shot at your next family breakfast, it’s a game-changer!
Nutricook Team
6 pcs Bread Slices
30g Nutella
Biscoff Spread, Chocolate Spread, Pistachio spread
1 cup Almond milk
1 tsp Cinnamon powder
2 tbsp Powdered Sugar
1 cup Cornflakes, crushed
Corn, Tree Nut, Almond, Soy, Cow Milk Protein, Cocoa, Hazelnut, Dairy Products, Lactose, Yeast, Gluten (Wheat, Oats, Rye, Barley), Wheat
First, trim off the crusts from 6 slices of bread. Spread 10g of nutella on each of these slices and place another slice on top to create a sandwich. Cut each sandwich into 3 long strips.
In a bowl, mix all the ingredients for the french toast mixture. Place crushed cornflakes on a separate plate.
Dip the bread strips in the French toast mixture, ensuring they are well-coated, and then roll them in the crushed cornflakes.
Set the air fryer at 180°C for 12 minutes and press START. Your nutricook air fryer will preheat automatically.
Preheat the air fryer and, once the air fryer has preheated, arrange the coated bread strips in the air fryer basket.
Once cooked, transfer the french toasts to a plate, drizzle some nutella, and sprinkle with icing sugar. Enjoy!
