Growing up, my mom had this awesome way of turning leftover fish into the most amazing evening snacks. My brother and I couldn’t get enough of them—we practically devoured them in seconds! Now, I’ve got an air-fried version of that same recipe for you. I hope you love it as much as I do!

Directions

  1. In a bowl, prepare the marinade by combining honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, and minced ginger. Mix well.

  2. Place the salmon pieces in a separate bowl and pour half of the marinade over them. Toss to coat the salmon evenly.

  3. While the salmon is marinating, set your air fryer at 190°C for 10 minutes and press START. Your nutricook air fryer will preheat automatically.

  4. Meanwhile, place the cornstarch in a shallow dish. Remove the salmon pieces from the marinade, allowing any excess marinade to drip off, and then coat them with cornstarch. Make sure each piece is well coated.

  5. Once your air fryer is preheated, lightly grease the air fryer basket with cooking spray to prevent sticking.

  6. Place the coated salmon pieces in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they are not crowded.

  7. Shake the basket or flip the pieces halfway through to ensure even cooking.

  8. Carefully transfer the crispy salmon bites on to a serving plate.

  9. Drizzle the thickened marinade over the crispy salmon bites.

  10. In a separate saucepan, heat the remaining marinade over medium heat until it thickens slightly.

  11. Garnish the salmon bites with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
