If you’ve ever been to Indian McDonald’s, you know the McSpicy Paneer is a game-changer. So, here I am in Dubai, craving those flavors, and I decided to whip them up myself. It turned out so good that even the CEO of Nutricook couldn’t resist asking for more. Give this a go, and you’ll have just discovered the best way to burger!
Nutricook Team
400g Paneer
4 pcs Burger buns
1/2 cup Flour/ All-Purpose Flour
1 tsp Onion powder
1 tsp Garlic powder
1/2 tsp Paprika powder
1/4 tsp Salt
1/8 tsp Black Pepper
1/4 cup Water
1 pc Tomato, slices
60g Rocket leaves or Lettuce
Chicken, Tofu, White Fish, Salmon
100g Panko
1/4 tsp Salt
1/8 tsp Black pepper
1/2 tsp Chilli Powder
4 tbsp Vegan mayo
2 tbsp Ketchup
2 tbsp Peri-peri powder
Black Pepper, Garlic, Tomato, Lemon, Corn, Citrus Fruits, Mustard, Red Chili, Yeast, Gluten (Wheat, Oats, Rye, Barley), Wheat, Cow Milk, Protein, Dairy Products, Lactose
Cut the paneer block into 1/2 inch thick slices. To prepare your marination, mix your flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper make a paste using water.
Add your chili powder, salt and pepper to the bread crumbs.
Dip your sliced paneer into the flour mixture and coat with the panko and set aside.
Set the air fryer at 200°C for 10 minutes and press START. Your nutricook air fryer will preheat automatically.
Once preheating is done, place the coated paneer slices in the air fryer basket.
In the meanwhile let’s make the spicy sauce by mixing mayo, ketchup and peri peri powder together.
For assembly, slice the burger bun in half, then spread the spicy sauce on one side, next add lettuce or rocket leaves and then place the sliced tomato. Place the paneer on top of the tomato and spread some more spicy sauce. Place the other half of the bun and the burger is ready in under 30 minutes.
